Fun on Tap at DAC 2016: Stars of IP Party Returns to Austin
IPextreme rallies twenty co-host companies to celebrate semiconductor IP ecosystem, Texas style
Campbell, Calif. – May 3, 2016 – IPextreme, Inc. today announced collaboration with key players in the semiconductor intellectual property (IP) ecosystem to host the fourth annual Stars of IP party at Revival Public House in Austin, Texas, on the evening of Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The event coincides with the 53rd Design Automation Conference (DAC), which takes place June 5 – 9 at the Austin Convention Center.
Stars of IP seeks to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem by fostering networking and forging closer ties among IP provider companies, partners, and users. The success of the inaugural event at DAC 2013 in Austin and the growth of the party with each subsequent year have established Stars of IP as a fixture at DAC and one of the most sought-after tickets at each year’s conference.
“Stars of IP is my favorite event of the year, hands down,” said McKenzie Ross, Director of Marketing, IPextreme, who has served as Stars of IP coordinator since the party’s inception. “We pride ourselves on keeping this party fun and fresh, and we especially love to give a nod to the unique culture of each DAC host city. Austin is a great town and it is very special to be back where it all began. I look forward to an evening of fun as we come together to celebrate IP.”
This year’s Stars of IP party co-hosts represent all corners of the IP ecosystem, from providers to industry partners and organizations: Altair, ARM, CAST, Certus Semiconductor, Constellations, Core Store*, DAC, Electronic System Design (ESD) Alliance*, IPextreme, Mobiveil, OneSpin Solutions, Open-Silicon*, Semico Research & Consulting Group, Silicon Creations*, Silvaco*, SoC Solutions*, Synopsys, True Circuits, TSMC, and UltraSoC*. Together, the co-hosts will invite over 300 of their best customers and partners to enjoy the party. *Denotes first-time co-host.
